I just finished watching a program called "Greening our Schools", hosted by Ed Begley, Jr.
I have been suggesting for several years to the superintendent of the district where I teach, that it would be advantageous for our district to equip the six school buildings in our district with solar panels. Initially, I was laughed at, but since the district is in financial difficulty, I think if we could get a grant for the panels needed, officials would be willing to put in a system that would sell our excess energy back to the grid, effectively supporting its maintenance and other district needs. Do you have any sources of grant money you could pass along, so we can apply for a grant?
