Environmental Audits can measure water footprint, energy footprint, ecological footprint, transportation, etc.
Below is a link to a sample from a web search. I would suggest searching for separate audits on-line to see which ones may inspire you so they can be added to the environmental audit. Adjust them to your specific school. You may include equipment (televisions, smart boards, radio systems, television studios, computer labs)

You could audit computers, equipment, water, gas, petroleum, gasoline, procurement, recycling, materials management, food processing, land, etc.
Think about what you want to cover in your audit, what you don't want to cover, what your goals are, the capacity of the student body, and the time that can be devoted to the audit. Once the audit is complete leave enough time to analyze the audit so you can agree on goals, identify trends, and develop strategies to meet the achievable goals. Having to broad of a scope may prevent you from learning from the audit and taking action -- limits are a good thing when starting an audit. Remember long journeys begin with single, well planned, steps.
