You can play a vital role in creating greener schools and developing the next generation of smart, dedicated environmental leaders. You can do it in your own community. Building on the success of the Growing Greener Schools television event, MPC is conducting a series of televised GGS Town Hall Meetings in conjunction with local PBS stations in major markets. These forums will provide local solutions, enlighten and motivate the public, build coalitions and community and elicit audience testimony for the national policy debate on the issue. The Meetings are staged in varying multi-cultural and geographic settings. The goal is to identify green solutions for schools and highlight best practices in each community.
